About this course

A practitioner course for teams operating across the Asia-Pacific region, where privacy frameworks differ in scope, terminology, consent expectations, transfer rules and breach timing. Each module works through a major framework or comparison and produces a reusable control: an applicability matrix, a rights workflow, a consent and notice standard, a transfer register and a breach notification map. The course is illustrative rather than an exhaustive legal survey of every jurisdiction in the region.

What you will be able to do

  • Determine which regional privacy frameworks may apply to a processing activity and record the basis
  • Compare notice, consent, rights, accountability, transfer and breach requirements across selected major jurisdictions
  • Adapt shared privacy controls while preserving jurisdiction-specific thresholds and terminology
  • Build operational matrices for rights, vendors, transfers and notification duties
  • Monitor regulatory change and maintain evidence for a regional privacy programme
